The Simplicity of Fairy Gardens.

Home > Educators > Newsletters

Designing a fairy garden can be a simple and inexpensive activity.  Anne Hutton made a fairy garden in an old drawer from a desk or cupboard.  The fairy garden is a fabulous miniature learning opportunity.  It is easy to transport to different areas and easy to store away to be used again.

Another fairy garden was recently found in a pot plant.   Indy (5) and Koa (3), with a little help from mum, Jodie, created their own fairy garden at home in a pot plant.  This is another example of creating interesting spaces in small environments that do not intrude on other activities and spaces with your home or outdoor area.
